Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Buttercream Dolls does not accept returns or exchanges due to the handmade and fragile nature of the products. Please make contact through email or the contact form with any concerns, a resolution based on circumstances will be of high priority. There are no refunds on digital downloads. For unused gift cards, a refund may be issued to the original form of payment within 30 days of purchase. A third party service fee of 10% will be deducted from the original amount being refunded.
Processing and Shipping
Please allow approximately 3–4 business days for processing orders before packages are shipped. When your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation containing your tracking information.
Buttercream Dolls is located in the U.S. Virgin Islands and ships packages using USPS domestic flat rate services within the U.S. USPS Priority mail is recommended for customers who prefer faster air transit to the U.S. Continental mainland. The option for Local Pickup is only available to customers who can arrange an in-person pickup transaction. All import duties for packages shipped to Canada and other non-U.S. destinations are the responsibility of the customer upon arrival.
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours after purchase, and may be subject to a 10% payment-processing restocking fee depending on the circumstances.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Customers are required to enter the correct shipping address and provide a safe delivery location against theft or other elements. If a package appears to be lost after a significant time based on tracking, a refund or replacement may be issued based on product availability. If a package is marked as delivered but has not been received, Buttercream Dolls will assist with USPS inquiries or claims. A resolution may be subject to the carrier’s investigation, delivery GPS location, insurance eligibility, and the circumstances of the shipment.
If an item arrives damaged, contact Buttercream Dolls within 48 hours after delivery by email or through the website contact form. The shipping carrier will require additional information for insurance purposes. Please include your name, order number, clear photographs or video of the item/s along with the shipping package. Buttercream Dolls will provide an appropriate remedy upon review, which may include a replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances and product availability.
Privacy Notice
Buttercream Dolls respects your privacy and will not share customer information.
We may collect basic information that you provide when placing an order or creating an account. This information may be used to process and fulfill orders; assist with customer service requests; and to maintain business accounting and tax purposes.
Payments are processed through a Federal regulated third-party payment processor. Buttercream Dolls does not receive customers’ credit card or bank account information. We may receive limited transaction information, such as the payment status, transaction reference or payment type as provided by the payment processor.
Miniature Product Safety
Buttercream Dolls’ products are small and fragile miniature collectibles created for adults. They are not edible and not intended as toys for children, as they may contain small parts that present a choking hazard. Keep all products away from babies, young children and pets. Customers are responsible for using and displaying the products in a safe manner and following these safety guidelines.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are redeemable for merchandise purchases only. Shipping costs are not included, but can be paid separately at checkout. This information will be clearly stated on the gift card so that the recipient is aware.
After purchase, an email will be sent to the designated recipient, and the gift card will be available for instant download or to print. However, gift cards require 2–8 hours for the code on to be activated and ready for use. It is recommended to choose a next-day delivery date. There are no expiration dates on the cards or their balances. A refund may be issued to the original form of payment for unused gift cards, but only within 30 days of purchase. However, a third party service fee will be deducted from the original amount being refunded.
Intellectual Property
The Buttercream Dolls name, branding, product photographs, graphics, website design, written descriptions, artwork, and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Buttercream Dolls. Website content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, distributed, modified, present as false affiliation or used without prior written permission. Purchasing a product does not transfer any copyright, trademark, design, or other intellectual-property rights associated with that product or its presentation.
Website Use and Refusal of Service
You may use this website only for personal viewing or shopping purposes, and not for fraudulent or unlawful activity. An account will be created when placing an order. If there are any issues accessing the account due to password or other issues, please make contact through email or the contact form.
Buttercream Dolls may cancel, decline and refund an order when reasonably necessary due to product unavailability, pricing/listing error, payment problems, shipping restrictions or suspected fraud. By utilizing this website, you agree to the policies stated. We also reserve the right to modify, amend, or change these policies at any time.
