Hi and welcome! My name is Leez, and I am a miniaturist with a passion for all things tiny. You may have noticed that I currently have a bit of an obsession with mini tea parties, cakes, cookies, and baked goods… oh, and lots of bundt cakes, roses and strawberries too. I am also a collector of dollhouses and fashion dolls ranging from 4 to 28 inches in height.  

As a child, I was always fascinated by all things miniature, especially those delicate porcelain tea sets displayed in shops... you know the kind, the ones that children were never allowed to touch.  In my teens, I then developed a passion for miniature landscapes and architectural modeling. However, after being diagnosed with progressive Keratoconus more than two decades ago, detailed miniature work became increasingly difficult.  Thankfully, better eye care in more recent years has allowed me to rediscover my passion for creating tiny things again. 

Today, Buttercream Dolls was partly created to help inspire more adult miniature enthusiasts and collectors to immerse themselves in the tiny world of doll food miniatures and accessories. Each handcrafted piece is made by me with lifelike details inspired by real-world treats, bringing added realism to your dollhouses and dioramas. As I strive to create more realistic miniature treats, I also manufacture or curate select accessories and miniature serveware to complement my handmade food creations. I work primarily with polymer clay, resin, ceramic, wood, PLA and plastic.
